Services Provided: Design of Arbor, benches, planters, planting design, and construction consultation. This massive Ipe arbor with 6×6 posts was carefully installed to the new home with the appropriate stand-off ledger to preserve the weatherproofing of this newly built home just blocks from the Palace of Fine Arts. We added custom benches and cushions, and hid a propane tank for the fire table inside the corner. For other planters on top of an expensive deck, we designed custom sized galvanized metal inserts into the planters, with drainage passing through the deck to eliminate any chance of rot. Lastly because of the shade, we installed synthetic turf then installed a dense pattern of lush plants between the concrete walls and fence.
